The Hub Care Center News

Our doors are open! Find out what's behind them

History is made! Our first location is now open, which means that you now have access to patient-centered primary care right here in Spokane. Here’s what you can expect when you visit the North Spokane Care Center.

Take care of the whole you

Our goal is to make it easier to take care of the whole you. At the North Spokane Care Center, you can get help with all of these common services and/or health issues:

  • Adult and pediatric primary care: episodic sick care, chronic disease management, provider-dispensed medications, and coordination of specialty and acute care
  • Acute care: suturing / basic wound care, sprains and strains, rashes, infections, asthma exacerbations, colds / upper respiratory infections, and other infections
  • Routine preventive care: annual whole health evaluations, physical exams, blood pressure screening, and immunizations and routine injections
  • Behavioral health counseling: stress management and more
  • Health coaching: goal setting and tools for behavior change
  • Lab work: on-site labs
  • Common prescription fills: first prescription fill only

It’s important to remember that you are more than a patient—and we are more than a care provider! If you have questions about your health plan coverage or next steps, our on-site care advocates are health plan specialists who can help you understand your benefits and feel more knowledgeable about what comes next. You can meet them when you come in for your next visit.

Get to know your care team

We believe that wellness starts with real relationships between patients and providers—and that those relationships take time. As Dr. Sarah Crow, the lead physician at the North Spokane Care Center, has said, “I feel like the way that we will be able to make people more healthy and empower them is through time.”

To allow relationships to form and care to exceed expectations, appointments at the North Spokane Care Center are generally longer than you might expect. Our whole health exams, for example, run between 30 and 60 minutes but are comprehensive, including biometric screening, time with a health coach, and an exam.

You can start building a relationship with your care team right now by allowing Dr. Crow and her fellow physicians to introduce themselves! In three short videos, watch Dr. Crow, Dr. Jlyn Pritchard, and Dr. Paula Dygert describe their approaches to care and life.

End the wait to see your doctor

With same- or next-day appointments available, you don’t have to wait weeks or months to see a doctor at the North Spokane Care Center. You can even visit with a doctor virtually outside office hours.

There’s so much more that we want to tell you about our first Care Center—from thoughtfully designed spaces to additional onsite services—but you’ll just have to come see for yourself.
